Honours and Awards

An Honours and Awards Ceremony will be held in the Officers’ Mess lounge at 0900hrs on Friday March 12, 2010. The presentation of awards is a formal event to recognize achievements, milestones and exceptional performance and as such, recipients are encouraged to invite their family, friends and peers to the ceremony.

2. Dress for the presentations will be DEU No 1A (Tunic with medals) for all military attendees. Air Force personnel shall wear wedge cap, Army/SAR personnel shall wear beret and Navy personnel shall wear service cap. Female personnel shall wear slacks. Civilian award recipients and guests are requested to be dressed appropriately. Recipients are to assemble and be seated in the Officers’ Mess lounge by 0845hrs. A reception will follow the ceremony.

Here is what we have for ‘deployment’ families this month:         A play written and performed by military spouse Courtney Siebring that takes a comedic look at the hardships of being a military spouse, while exploring the adventure of moving beyond the comfortable.
